Digital Vision, Inc., was founded in 1984 near Boston, Massachusetts, to produce the ComputerEyes line of low-cost video capture products for the emerging market in personal computers. It went on to manufacture versions for many models of computers and with increasing speed and image quality. Other products, notably the TelevEyes family of computer video output devices, joined the company's offerings over the years. Digital Vision was eventually acquired in the mid-1990s after a long and enjoyable run.
